NAILE 2022 JUNIOR BOER GOAT SHOW REMINDER:
Here's a reminder for JABGA members entering the North American International Livestock Expo Junior Boer Goat Show:
According to JABGA Sanctioned Show Rules and NAILE Junior Boer Goat Show Rules, exhibitors must be current members of the Junior American Boer Goat Association (JABGA) and in good standing with the organization.
ABGA Certified Judge Sammy Lerena will judge the 2022 NAILE Junior Boer Goat Show.

ABGA JUDGES CERTIFICATION PROGRAM IS FULL:
The ABGA Judges Certification Evaluation set for November 2022 in Stephenville, Texas is currently at maximum capacity, with an extensive waiting list. ABGA will contact applicants who are already on the waiting list if any slots become available
HURRICANE IAN ASSISTANCE:
If you are attending the Blountstown Rotary Goat Day Goat Show in Florida (October 15) and would like to donate household items in the wake of Hurricane Ian, please arrange donations with Kathy Carr.
Monetary donations can be made to the ABGA CARES FUND through the American Boer Goat Foundation.

Submitting work to ABGA via regular mail? Be sure to use our current address: 4258 S. Jackson St., San Angelo, Texas 76903. We recommend using Priority Mail to ensure delivery to the ABGA office.
If you are submitting work to the ABGA office via email, please send it to mail@abga.org.
Old and outdated ABGA forms should be destroyed: correct forms are available on our website at: https://www.abga.org/forms/.
JABGA YOUTH COORDINATOR POSITION CLOSED:
As of October 5, 2022, the American Boer Goat Association is no longer accepting applications for the JABGA Youth Coordinator position. Thank you to all the applicants who submitted their information!
ABGA SANCTIONED SHOWS:
Show secretaries have 30 days after the show to submit results. If you see points missing or incorrectly calculated in ILR, we may be awaiting placings from your show secretary; please email shows@abga.org for more information.
ABGA COMMITTEE MEETINGS:
ABGA committee meetings have begun. We appreciate everyone who volunteered to serve on an ABGA committee. Please reach out to your committee chair if you are serving on an ABGA committee but have not received a Zoom link via email.
Committee meetings will be held at 7:00 PM CST unless otherwise noted.

We are currently processing work submitted on October 6, 2022.

During the first three quarters of 2022 (January – September), our registrations department saved at least $23,000 in postage and handling costs by folding certificates.
BOOKKEEPING:
The ABGA office is currently making courtesy calls regarding outstanding balances for ABGA work. ABGA members can view their outstanding balances through Online Live and can make payments using Online Live or the Payment Center.
Payments made through Online Live instantly apply to your account. Payments made through the Payment Center add credit to your account and can take up to three business days to process.
