AJ Araiza, a native of the Southern California desert, was born in Palm Springs, CA, and raised in Indio, CA. In 2016, he and his wife relocated to New York, residing in Queens and Long Island while his wife pursued her doctorate until 2021.

Following his wife's achievement of a PhD, they moved to San Angelo, Texas. Since 2021, AJ has been working at the American Boer Goat Association. During his time there, he developed the ABGA website (abga.org), redesigned all ABGA forms, and enhanced ABGA's social media presence.

In his free time, AJ enjoys art, hiking, traveling, and listening to hip-hop, electronic, jazz, and 60s soul music. Despite his passion for creating, he finds himself mostly occupied with his energetic 1-year-old beagle mix puppy.
