DNA TESTING

DNA Test Results for all sires of kids conceived by either natural service or using semen collected on or after January 1, 2015 must be on file at ABGA in order for the kids to be registered. The Sample Test Kit includes instructions on how to pull hair for a DNA test.

Effective January 1, 2018, DNA testing is required for does before offspring are eligible for registration when the offspring is a result of embryo flush occurring after January 1, 2018.
