Opportunities we provide for youth today.
No telling where they will take them tomorrow.

The future of the Boer goat industry in America is vested in the youth who are willing to dedicate their time to the production and/or exhibition of Boer goats. To that end the American Boer Goat Association is committed to providing the framework for a strong junior association in which those who are interested in exhibiting, learning about, and hopefully, producing Boer goats can participate. The Junior American Boer Goat Association serves to teach young people the importance of leadership skills, integrity, responsibility and good values. JABGA membership is open to all youth under the age of 19.

The United States is divided into 5 Areas for JABGA and 2 members represent each area. Approval of implementation of programs within the Junior American Boer Goat Association is structured through a governing system consisting of the JABGA Board of Directors, youth committee, and subject to final approval by the ABGA Board of Directors.

Membership in the Junior American Boer Goat Association opens the door to an array of opportunities
for youth interested in raising, showing, or just learning about Boer goats and the goat industry.

Being a member of JABGA also provides opportunities to meet other youth from all over the country.
