Jason Brashear, Boer goat judge since 2007, raises goats in Kentucky and leads Pine Mountain Settlement School, focusing on sustainability and Appalachian culture.

Jason Brashear from Hazard, Kentucky and has been raising Boer Goats since 1999. He started judging in early 2000s and became a licensed judge first with the International Boer Goat Association in 2007 and the ABGA in 2014. Jason has been blessed to have judged county fairs, majors and national shows coast to coast. 

He is the Executive Director of Pine Mountain Settlement School in Harlan County Kentucky that focusses on Environmental Literacy, Sustainable Agriculture, and Appalachian Culture and Craft.

Jason and his wife Shasta and two girls, Shy and Ireland, love raising percentage Boer Goats on their mountain farm.
