Animal Eligilbility:
-
The Percentage Doe of Exellence Award Program is
open to the following categories of
registration:
1.1. ABGA registered Percentage (50% through
88%) Does.
1.2. Effective January 1, 2008, an animal must
be owned by an ABGA member in good standing as
defined under Rule M 1(f) to be
eligible for the Percentage Doe of Excellence
Award.

Eligible percentage females must meet the
requirements for points earned as described
under Point Requirements shown below.

ABGA sanction show exhibitors are to present a
valid ABGA registration paper at show entry for
tracking of points.

Registered percentage female progeny may earn
points for their dam and themselves through ABGA
sanctioned shows.
4.1. 15/16 American Purebred female progeny may
contribute points to their dam. They cannot earn
points for
themselves for this award.

Percentage male progeny may earn points for
their dam through an ABGA approved Performance
Gain Test.

Test for requirements to earn points through
this program.

Progeny is defined as direct offspring of the
Percentage Doe resulting from natural breeding,
artificial insemination, or embryo transfer.
Point Requirement:
-
The Percentage Doe will be required to earn 100
points in any combination of herself and/or her
progeny. A minimum of 15 of the 100 points must
be earned by at least 2 point earning offspring.

Points will be awarded to the doe and/or female
progeny under the Points Award rules for ABGA
sanction shows and ABGA National Shows as listed
below.

Points at an ABGA Sanction show are awarded
based on the placing of animals in each class by
an ABGA judge.

A formal show report (submitted by show
officials) containing the animal's name, ABGA
registration number, tattoos, total number of
animals in the show and each class must be
completed by the show secretary, signed by the
ABGA judge and submitted to the ABGA office
within 30 days of the show.

Points earned since July 1, 2004 will count
toward this award.
Inspection:
- Inspection of the percentage doe or her
progeny will not be required.
