Sammy Lerena, ABGA judge and Red Oak Ranch owner in Texas, raises Boer goats and runs a reproduction business, specializing in AI for sheep and goats.

Sammy Lerena and his wife Taylor live in Lipan, Texas where they own and operate Red Oak Ranch. Their herd currently is about 150 head.

Sammy has been an ABGA member since 2006, and in the spring of 2014, he became a Certified Judge for the ABGA. Since then, he's judged in over 25 different states. Some of his judging highlights has been judging 4 different times at the ABGA National Show, Yellow Rose Classic at Fort Worth Stock show twice, NAILE in Louisville twice and the Houston Livestock Show

Along with actively raising competitive show goats, Sammy also has a small ruminant reproduction business, where much of the year he travels the country artificially inseminating 500-700 head of sheep and goats.
