2005 Strategic Plan

In the early 2000’s, the American Boer Goat Association Board of Directors saw the need to define goals and objectives that would create future opportunities for the agricultural industry.

The goals and objectives that were identified became the basis of the 2005-2008 Strategic Plan. The plan allowed the association to focus on the opportunities that were achievable within its resources. Many challenges faced the meat goat industry at that time and continue to do so today.  Focusing on common objectives created greater opportunities for all goat producers.

Today many of the objectives and goals of the Strategic Plan are in the process of being refined, or are already in place.
